East Abbotsford Dental strongly believes that children should begin their oral health journey from a young age. This helps children prepare for a lifetime of good oral care and hygiene. We follow the Canadian Dental Association’s recommendation that children have an assessment by a dentist within 6 months of the eruption of their first tooth, or by one year of age, whichever comes first. East Abbotsford Dental is here to help introduce children to what happens during a dental visit and allow them to become comfortable with the entire dental office experience. For our youngest patients, we do this through our Smiley Visits, which are catered to our youngest patients.

As many of our team members are parents themselves, we recognize the importance of easing the anxieties and concerns of our youngest patients.
